Text and Data Mining
The Journal of Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Computing (J. Appl. Math. Stat. Comput.) supports the advancement of research through text and data mining (TDM) and is committed to facilitating access to its content for legitimate research purposes. As an open-access journal, J. Appl. Math. Stat. Comput. encourages researchers to utilize its published articles for TDM activities, subject to the terms outlined below.
Scope of the Policy
This policy applies to all content published in J. Appl. Math. Stat. Comput., including articles, datasets, and supplementary materials available through our online platform. TDM activities include, but are not limited to, the automated analysis, extraction, or processing of text, data, or other content to uncover patterns, trends, or insights for academic or non-commercial research purposes.
Access to Content for TDM
Open Access Content: All articles published in J. Appl. Math. Stat. Comput. are freely accessible under an open-access license (e.g., Creative Commons Attribution License, CC BY). Researchers may access and download content directly from the journal’s website without requiring additional permissions for TDM, provided the use complies with the terms of the license.
API Access: For large-scale TDM, J. Appl. Math. Stat. Comput. provides an Application Programming Interface (API) to facilitate efficient access to content. Researchers interested in API access should contact the journal’s editorial office at editor@jamsc.aastemer.org for technical details and access instructions.
Rate Limits: To ensure fair access and maintain platform stability, TDM activities are subject to reasonable rate limits. Excessive or disruptive access may result in temporary restrictions. Please contact the editorial office if specialized access is required.
Permitted Uses
